This first writing course is a 6-week self-paced course for Christian homeschool parents to learn the basic skills of teaching writing. The course starts off with an introduction to the biblical foundations of writing where parents can learn and teach the principles that undergird the subject of writing. Letter formation, spelling words, and basic sentences will be studied in depth. Parents will also be equipped to set up routines that help children build mastery. You child can learn the disciplines of writing fluently and gain the confidence they need to write and communicate Gospel truth to their generation.

Elementary Writing 1 is a foundational online writing course for PK–2nd grade students that teaches children how to move from letters and words to complete, meaningful sentences.

Rather than focusing on grade-level checklists, this course emphasizes mastery, clarity, and readiness.
